Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has apologised to fans for his reaction when replaced in the recent intense Clasico clash victory.

He was replaced in the 72nd min and displayed his annoyance by heading directly off the pitch.

Vinicius eventually reappeared to the bench and, following his side's narrow triumph, attempted to approach the opposition's Lamine Yamal during unsavoury post-match scenes.

The player signed for Madrid from his former club in recent years for millions and has accumulated over a century of strikes in numerous matches.

But his prospects in the La Liga is uncertain with reports in the past few months suggesting that Los Blancos would contemplate allowing the 25-year-old move on if they got a appropriate bid.
